6 Day Luxury Escape
DAY 3 & 4
We spend the morning salmon fishing on Lake Wanaka before commencing our alpine getaway at a private lodge on a high country sheep station, only accessible by helicopter.
Using this luxury lakeside lodge as our base for two nights we explore the braided Matukituki River by jet boat, view wild game and marine life by helicopter, then land on the coast to pluck Crayfish from the sea and have it served fresh that evening for dinner. That night you can relax in your open air hot tub under the clearest night skies you will ever see.
Located as it is on a working sheep station you will be invited to observe the operation of the farm by 4WD, to witness real shearing and the muster of thousands of sheep.
