Day 5
We return to Treble Cone today as one day taking in those alpine vistas is simply no enough! You have the option today to upgrade to a heli ski in the Harris Mountains. Situated behind Treble Cone, the heli ski experience offers perfect powder surrounded by absolute skiing wildness. This is a truly New Zealand ski experience. The guided runs are suitable for intermediate skiers or advanced skiers can take in steeper fall lines or max the day with 7x helicopter ‘lifts’ to a variety of peaks in the area.
Day 6
Today we journey over the mountain pass to Queenstown skiing at the Cardrona Resort en-route once more. If one days heli skiing is not enough, we have the option today of a heliski upgrade today also. Immerse in the blue skies, untracked powder and fresh air of this alpine wilderness. Some of the the best guided skiing anywhere in the world.
Before we drive down the valley to our luxury lakeside resort we call into the Cardrona Hotel (the gold miners’ pub) to reflect on the skiing, the new found peace and the space New Zealand offers our guests. Wonderful!
After checking into our private Queenstown Villa we have the option of dining at one of New Zealand’s most renowned restaurants in Arrowtown, a gold mining village nestled at the foot of the Crown Terrace.
Day 7
Today we take the short drive to Coronet Peak, New Zealand’s oldest ski resort. Not only does this mountain-view encapsulate the Wakitipu Basin but the wide open runs are the perfect way to relax after an energetic start to your New Zealand ski holiday.
Should you want a more relaxing day we have day spa, wine tasting, golf or private shopper options that can be arranged this afternoon.
This evening we will celebrate the rejuvenation the New Zealand ski experience gives us. Should you wish, Pure Boutique will host a private villa meal option, with wine tasting. Our Chinese chef will present beautiful food accompanied by some incredible New Zealand wine.
